This was a great performance from the Sharks and the scoreline does not do justice to their efforts.
Adam Thompson was in outstanding form for Shevington taking the Man of the Match and Spectators award, and he was well supported by the very impressive Coaches award winner, Dominic Lomax.
Shevington’s two tries were scored by Top Tackler, Dan Meadows who showed great strength and pace to score both tries.
SHEVINGTON SHARKS U11’S 10 WIGAN ST JUDES U11’S 24 - 13th April 2008.
This was a very exciting local derby with St Judes securing victory late in the second half
Man of the Match, Robert Kerr was in outstanding form for the Sharks and he was well supported by Coaches award winner, Callum Freeman and Top Tackler, Dan Meadows.

Shevington were superbly led by Man of the match, Kyle Shelford and he was well supported by Top Tackler, Dominic Lomax and Spectators award winner, Sam Halliwell.

The scoreline does not do justice to the hard work and commitment all the Sharks players put into this fixture.
Matty Boyers was in scintillating form for Shevington, taking the Spectators award and scoring a superb hat-trick of tries. Kyle Shelford took the Man of the match award, and did not deserve to be on the losing side with a great performance. Sam Chadwick, deservedly, took the Coaches award.
Triangular Tournament - 9th March 2008.
Shevington Sharks Under 11’s took part in a triangular tournament on Sunday with Ince Rose Bridge and West Hull
The Sharks first game was against West Hull and they were victorious with a 10-8 victory. It was a great team performance with Kyle Shelford and Dominic Lomax having good games. Try scorers for the Sharks were the impressive Dan Meadows and, the Shevington Player of the Tournament, Matty Boyers
In the Sharks second game they came up against a very good Ince Rose Bridge side and lost the game 26-0, although the scoreline does not do justice to the committed performance from Shevington who went close to scoring on a number of occasions
SHEVINGTON SHARKS U11’S 6 CHORLEY PANTHERS U11’S 16 - 2nd March 2008.
This was a closely contested contest between two very determined teams.
Spectator’s award winner, Matty Boyers was in fine form for the Sharks and scored a spectacular try, he was well supported by Top Tackler, Dominic Lomax, Coaches award winner Dan Meadows and Man of the Match Kyle Shelford
SHEVINGTON SHARKS U11’S 34 WARERHEAD U11’S 22 - 24th Feb 2008.
This was a superb display by the Sharks, and they came away from Oldham with a well deserved victory.
Matty Boyers was in outstanding form for the Sharks, scoring a hat-trick of tries he also took the Man of the Match and Spectators Award.
Other try scorers were Shane Melling and Dominic Lomax.
Adam Thompson was in excellent form and too the Top Tackler award while Kyle Shelford was the Coaches choice for a fine all round game.
SHEVINGTON SHARKS U11’S 16 ROCHDALE MAYFIELD U11’S 26 - 10th Feb 2008.
This was a much improved display from the Sharks and they were certainly in with a chance of winning the game until the last 5 mins.
Man of the match and Spectators award winner Kyle Shelford was in superb form for Shevington leading from the front and unlucky to be on the losing side.
Try scorers for the Sharks were Coaches award winner Ryan Doran, Patrick Flatley and Adam Weir
Callum Freeman was the Top Tackler for a non stop display.
